Meals

Students are required to participate in a meal plan during regular and

summer terms; participation is optional during the Exploration term. The

plans vary according to meal access and amount of “panther bucks,” which

can be used at food service locations outside the cafeteria by presenting a

Birmingham-Southern Campus Card.

In case of a lost campus card, the student is responsible for notifying the

Student Accounts Office immediately to stop any unauthorized use of

the card. If the Student Accounts Office is notified, the student may be

responsible for no more than $50 in unauthorized charges. There is a fee

for replacing a lost campus card. There is no fee for replacing a damaged or

illegible card upon presentation of that card to the Student Accounts Office.

Refunds

A student dropping all courses should refer to the policies for withdrawal

in the “Withdrawal from the College” and “Implications of Withdrawal”

sections of this catalog. No adjustment of charges is made after the third

week of a fall or spring term or after the first week of a summer term.
